Use Image to Layers responsibly

These terms describe how you may access and use Image to Layers, how credits are billed, and what happens to your uploaded images.

Purpose

Turn images into editable semantic layers for design and animation workflows.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to hold an account, and use the service for legitimate business or personal workloads.

Billing

Subscriptions and credits are processed through our payment providers and shared across eligible image and video workflows.

Age and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Image to Layers. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.
The service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly create accounts for, collect personal information from, or provide the service to anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK, where a higher age of digital consent applies).
A user who is 13 or older but under the age of majority in their jurisdiction may use the service only with the involvement, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on their behalf and is responsible for their activity.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under the applicable minimum age, we may suspend or delete it and remove associated personal data. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided us personal information can contact support@imagetolayers.com and we will delete it.

Your responsibilities

Upload only files you have permission to process.
Do not upload malicious content, PII you lack consent for, or regulated data that requires special handling (HIPAA, PCI).
Respect rate limits and do not attempt to reverse-engineer or resell the service.
Keep your Supabase account credentials secure and notify us of suspicious activity.

Content standards and prohibited categories

Sexual or NSFW content: You may not create, request, transform, upload, or distribute pornographic, sexually explicit, non-consensual intimate, or exploitative sexual content.
Violence or gore: You may not create or distribute content that graphically depicts severe injury, torture, mutilation, or violence intended primarily to shock, glorify harm, or encourage real-world violence.
Hate speech: You may not promote, praise, threaten, or incite hatred, discrimination, or violence against people based on protected characteristics.
Child unsafe content: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization or exploitation of minors, grooming, and any content that endangers a child are strictly prohibited. Apparent violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Deepfakes and impersonation: You may not use another person's face, voice, identity, or likeness without authorization to deceive, defraud, harass, misrepresent an endorsement, or create harmful deepfakes or impersonations.
Copyright and trademark infringement: You may not upload or generate content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other intellectual-property rights, including misleading use of protected brands or characters.
Removing ownership identifiers: You may not remove logos, trademarks, watermarks, copyright notices, attribution, or other ownership or source identifiers from content you do not own or have permission to modify, or do so to enable or conceal infringement, counterfeiting, impersonation, deception, or misrepresentation.
You are responsible for ensuring that your prompts, uploads, and outputs comply with these standards and applicable law before publishing or distributing them.

Content moderation, reporting, and enforcement

We may use automated safety filters, usage signals, and manual review of reported or flagged activity to detect potential violations. Automated systems may make mistakes, and we may request additional context before taking action.
To report prohibited content or misuse, email support@imagetolayers.com or use the Contact page. Include the relevant URL, account or job identifier, the reason for the report, and any supporting information you can lawfully share.
Depending on severity and history, we may block a prompt or upload, remove or restrict content, revoke access to a feature, suspend or terminate an account, preserve relevant records, or report suspected unlawful activity when required by law.
We prioritize credible reports involving child safety, imminent physical harm, fraud, or non-consensual intimate content. Other reports are reviewed in a reasonable order based on risk and available information.
If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, you may appeal through support@imagetolayers.com with the account email and relevant job or decision details. Repeated or severe violations may not be eligible for reinstatement.

Output rights and commercial use

You keep your inputs. We claim no ownership of the images, prompts, or other material you upload, and we claim no intellectual-property rights in the outputs you generate.
Commercial use of an output requires two conditions to be met at the same time. First, your plan must include it: Creator and Studio plans include commercial usage rights, while Starter Trial outputs are for personal use only. Second, the model that produced the output must permit it under the terms of the platform hosting that model.
We route jobs to models hosted on Replicate and on fal, and those platforms grant different rights. The model that produced a given output is recorded with the job, and the terms of that model set the outer limit of what you may do with the output — your plan cannot grant you more than the model's own terms allow.
For Replicate-hosted models, Replicate grants you all right, title and interest, if any, in the output, including use for commercial purposes such as sale or publication — expressly subject to the third-party terms of the specific model used.
For fal-hosted models, fal does not transfer ownership of output content and does not warrant that outputs are original or non-infringing. Individual fal model pages state whether that model permits commercial use; where a model page makes no statement, the upstream provider's terms (for example Google, OpenAI, or Alibaba) govern.
Individual models carry additional restrictions that continue to apply to the output. Common examples include prohibitions on military or surveillance use, on using outputs to train or build competing or derivative models, and on presenting AI-generated content as human-created. Check the terms of the model you used before publishing commercially.
Neither we nor our model providers warrant that an output is original or that it does not infringe a third party's copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights. You are responsible for clearing any output you publish or distribute, including for trademarks, identifiable people, and product details.
Some models embed provenance watermarking in every output. For example, images produced by Nano Banana Pro carry Google SynthID markers. These markers are part of the output and we do not remove them.
We may add, replace, or retire models over time. The terms that apply to an output are those of the model that actually generated it at the time it was generated.

Credits and payments

All paid plans are processed through Creem.io acting as merchant of record.
Plans may be monthly or annual and renew automatically until cancelled. The billing interval, renewal price, and included credits are shown before purchase.
Subscription credits, add-on credits, promotional credits, and free credits may have different expiration and reset rules. The applicable plan or checkout disclosure controls.
Credits are non-transferable between accounts and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Credit cost varies by job settings (quality mode) and may depend on image resolution. The exact cost is shown before you start processing.
You may cancel a subscription through the available billing controls. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law or the payment provider requires otherwise.
Charge disputes should be sent to support before filing with your card issuer (see Refund Policy).

Data handling

We store uploaded images and generated outputs only as needed to provide downloads during the retention period.
Operational logs include metadata (timestamp, runtime, settings, image size) but do not include your image pixels.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, attempt fraud, or violate export/control laws.
You may cancel anytime; unused credits can be refunded per the Refund Policy (where applicable).
Upon termination we delete your profile data except transaction records required for compliance.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Image to Layers is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and that generated outputs will meet your requirements or be free from errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Image to Layers and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or service interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Image to Layers for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Retention

Free files are retained for up to 7 days, Creator Lite and Creator files for up to 30 days, and Studio files for up to 1 year.
You may delete supported files earlier. Retention periods may be shortened when required for safety, legal, security, or operational reasons.

Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes are handled in Shanghai jurisdiction.
