Convert a Flat Logo to a Layered PSD
Upload a flattened logo and separate visually distinct elements—such as the icon, wordmark, background shape, and supporting effects—into raster layers inside a Photoshop PSD. Use the result as a faster starting point for logo revisions, motion preparation, and brand asset reuse.

More Than Background Removal
Background removers create a transparent cutout. ImageToLayers also reconstructs the area hidden behind the subject, giving you complete assets for editing and composition.
Most images are processed in 60–120 seconds.
The exported PSD contains editable raster layers. It does not recreate the original vector paths, fonts, or source design file.

What Logo to PSD Does Not Do
It Does Not Vectorize the Logo
The exported layers are raster images. They are not SVG paths, Illustrator shapes, or editable vector objects.
It Does Not Recover the Original Font
The tool does not identify or restore the original typeface used in the logo.
It Does Not Create Editable Text
The wordmark may be separated into its own raster layer, but the wording, font, tracking, and individual letters are not converted into native Photoshop text.
It Does Not Recover the Original Source File
The PSD is newly generated from the visible pixels in the uploaded image. It is not the original PSD, AI, Figma, or brand source file.

Only need two layers?
Just the subject and the background? Try Background Splitter
When a photo only has one subject in front of a background, Background Splitter gives you a transparent foreground and a reconstructed background in one step, without setting up a full multi-object layer split.

Original photo
The source image with a single subject and background.

Transparent foreground
The subject isolated as a clean transparent PNG.

Reconstructed background
The scene behind the subject, rebuilt and reusable on its own.

Logo to PSD FAQ
Can I convert a PNG or JPEG logo into a layered PSD?
Yes. The tool analyzes a flattened logo and attempts to separate visually distinct elements into raster layers inside a PSD file.
Will the logo become vector artwork?
No. The result is a raster-layer PSD, not an SVG or Illustrator vector file.
Will the text become editable?
No. A wordmark may be separated as a raster layer, but it will not become native editable typography.
Can the tool identify the logo font?
No. Font identification and font matching are not included in this workflow.
What types of logos work best?
Flat, high-resolution logos with clear contrast and visually distinct icons, wordmarks, and background shapes generally produce more useful layers.
What is difficult to separate?
Complex gradients, soft shadows, overlapping letters, transparent effects, heavy compression, and low-resolution inputs may require manual cleanup after export.
Should I use Logo to PSD or logo vectorization?
Use Logo to PSD when you need separated raster elements for Photoshop or motion work. Use vectorization when you need scalable paths, editable shapes, or print-ready SVG artwork.
How do credits and billing work?
Each logo separation run uses the same credit cost as Image to Layers. Failed jobs are refunded automatically.
